Well, at this years show there was absolutely loads of great stuff to see. A lot of it could be seen at the IGT stand. Here are a couple of snippets to get your mouth watering (and maybe to get you to visit Vegas this year too!)
One of the first things you could see at the IGT stand was a massive Wheel of Fortune machine for multiple players. The interesting thing here was that the game was a cross between the really popular IGT slot called Wolf Run (on some machines around the wheel) and also the Cleopatra slot (on other machines around the wheel)
When you played the slot, it was the typical 5 reel video slot (either Wolf Run or Cleopatra), but also had an extra set of Wheel of Fortune bonus icons, which when lined up to spell ‘WHEEL’ gave you the big bonus and the chance to spin the wheel.
The first game we saw with this new innovation in slot technology was Cleopatra. When you play the 4-in-1 version, it really does give you sensory over-load, but at the same time it is totally thrilling to see all the slots running at the same time and quite amazing if you get a big win on more than one at the same time
Another great innovation we saw, was IGT’s new 4-in-1 slot where you can play four slots at once, each with their own jackpot. It works a bit like when someone plays a few bingo cards all at the same time, or when a poker player plays a few games online simultaneously
