IGT’s star wars is a relative newcomer on the casino floor. For me it’s one of the best slots for gameplay I have come across. Featuring all your favorites, including Hans Solo, Chewbacca and Yoda there are some stunning animated features and video clips that keep the game fresh for as long as you play.
The games bonus features are also excellent and certainly some of the best I have seen in the casino recently. Without giving too much away as it is a new slot and so should be played without knowing too much to start with (I’ll update later), in one of the games, you have to levitate (using Jedi skills) objects in the swamp to win prizes.
The game has a ‘megajackpot’ that is $1,000,000 - quite some prize!
When the game first hit the casinos, if you want to win this you have to play the maximum bet each time (as is often the case). However, the catch was, the game was only available in a 25c slot, which made the minimum bet if you wanted a chance for the jackpot, a massive $3 spin
Now, though, I have seen a few 5c games and even one penny slot for Star wars, so it is certainly more affordable than it was.
More recently, at the latest ICE/ATE online gaming show at Olympia as well as the G2E in Vegas, a new multiplayer version was on display - this looks absolutely fantastic and is certain to be a big hit in the casino.
