The new online slot from IGT is based on the hit TV animation and movie series, Transformers - robots in disguise. As you would expect from IGT, this new game is a really stunning with some of the best gameplay ever seen in an online slot to date

Gameplay

When you play the game, the graphics load up and you immediately get the sense that something special has gone into this one. As the credits roll, you here the familiar "Transformers" music, followed by the voice over calling out "Autobox... Transform and Roll out"

The game itself is a five reel video slot and you can play up to 25 pay-lines at a time. Minimum bet is only 1p, so you can play the full pay-line load for only 25p per spin

There are three features in the game, the first being the expanding wilds where a robot rises up to fill an entire reel. Lining up two or three of these on the screen can result in some very big wins and if you get four you can guarantee and enormous win. Five on the screen, of course, gives you that dream jackpot top prize

The is also a Cybertron Wild symbol which can expand out and give you the choice of three planets to choose from. Each planet hides a multiplier for the wild symbol, which could be as low as 3x (still good), or could be as high as 10x, which again could result in a nice little haul

The big bonus scene, though is the one where the robots fight each other. You get this if you can line up a bonus symbol on reels one and five. Having done that, you then get to choose the transformer that you would like to be during the game. This is the robot that will fight for you, gladiator style

The bonus itself consists of free spins, which carry on with the player getting more and more bonus points (real cash) as you line up symbols. Occasionally, you get a robot on the screen which initiates a fight scene.

During the fight you get to see loads of different moves, which can be quite exciting. This fighting continues and each time you win a bout you get more bonus cash. The winner is the first robot to inflict three big hits on the other one

All in all, this makes for one of the best games out right now. One thing to watch out for, though, is that the game we played only had a 92% pay-out. This puts it in the realms of a game to play for fun, or for free money rather than real money. To win real money, you would be better off choosing one of the games that has a high (96%+) pay-out

Other great games from IGT you might like to check out include Lil Lady Slots which is a completely different kettle of fish, but is very fun and cute, or perhaps (more similar to this game) would be the brand new Dungeons and Dragons slot machine where again, you get to fight battles in the bonus round.
