You play this release on a 5x3 board with 15 fixed paylines, which pay left to right only. Fairytale Fortune actually has five special features! That said, the first four are all locked behind one special feature. Meanwhile, the fifth can only be triggered when one of the other four has completed. Annoyingly restrictive, but we understand why Pragmatic Play decided to go this route. If you could have more than one active at once, they’d have to make them less lucrative. And nobody wants that!

But that’s not the only thing great about this developer! Another thing we like praising them for is how they allow gamblers to set their wagers. If you just want to get to a specific number, you can keep pressing plus or minus until you reach it. But you can also tweak coins per payline and coin value individually, mixing and matching until you find the stake that suits you best. Players can bet between GBP 0.15 and GBP 75 on each spin, which is a great betting spread.

However, there is one part of this slot that doesn’t quite sit right with us. See, the top prize you can win amounts to 500x your total stake, and requires a five-of-a-kind Wild win. We don’t need to tell you how rare that is! And while it is well within reach of this games’ special features, we prefer having one big win. Doing it like this, where you have to land multiple jackpots to get anything substantial feels annoying. Especially considering Fairytale Fortunes has a medium-high volatility! The first one these four bonuses is the Wheel of Fortune. On it, you can win prizes ranging from 5x to 50x + 1 spin. As the top prize implies, you get 50x your total stake, and another spin on the wheel! You could theoretically keep spinning the wheel over and over by hitting 50x + 1 spin over and over again. Unfortunately, reality is often disappointing.

Next on the list are Raining Wilds. Ten free spins are played. Between three to ten Wilds are added on each free spin, and disappear after that turn ends.
