We don’t have much to say about the graphics. They’re not bad, but we can’t say we’re impressed by them, either. Really, the best way to describe them is average. The background image is completely static, apart from an occasional burst of bubbles.

Of course, gameplay is a different beast. First off, IGT’s release is played on a 5x3 board with 243 ways to win. This is a marked improvement over regular paylines, as it gives you more opportunities to win! On top of that, Poseidon gives you the option to pay extra to enable both ways win! This slot uses IGT’s newer layout. It looks cool, but the colour scheme doesn’t quite match the background image. And while that’s bad, this game does deliver on a very important improvement: changing your bet! You can choose to stake between GBP 0.25 and GBP 1.25, which is a small betting spread. Fortunately, you can improve it slightly: by enabling two ways win! This doubles the cost of each spin, which means players can stake a maximum of GBP 2.50 on each spin.

Your largest win is a five-of-a-kind Scatter prize, worth 100x. The amount of effort you have to put in to get that prize really isn’t worth your time. But, it does help us determine that yes, this is a low volatility release. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find any official information about the RTP. Some sources have it marked as 96.2%. If that’s true, then its RTP beats out the average of 96%. But as we said, this information doesn’t come from the developer themselves, so keep that in mind.

Honestly, this slot didn’t leave a particular splash on us either way. The novelty of 243 ways to win and paying both ways does wear off with time, and you’re left with bog-standard special features at that point. The jackpot isn’t enticing either, as its only 100x your total stake. We recommend it if you enjoy safe games or just want to mindlessly grind for a bonus. Otherwise, we suggest something a bit more volatile and lucrative.
