We were a bit disappointed with the graphics, which didn’t quite feel up to standard for a 2017 release. The background image is a rather simplistic one, but there’s no denying it’s quite effective at relaying its message. The completely static leprechaun stands on the left side of the reels, while on the right, you have a chest full of glimmering golden bars, which would probably be quite enticing if it weren’t for the fact that beneath the reels, the floor is covered in a sea of golden bars just waiting to be picked up and carried off. Behind the reels, you can see a rainbow and a purplish sky. The title seems to use a mobile user interface for its desktop version as well, which has some issues – such as having to click on buttons to reveal key parts of your user interface such as the ability to change wagers and access the paytable.

Symbols are entirely comprised of generic playing card symbols that include 10, J, Q, K and A, without any real decoration to make them fit with the somewhat overblown Irish theme the slot has going on. The only unique symbol is the slot’s logo, which has also been used in other Rainbow Riches titles, so best we can tell, not a lot of effort went into icons for this game. The Wild symbol is a pair of crossed green lines on top of a yellow coin, with the words Wild written on top of it. The Scatter is a rainbow symbol with a pile of gold beneath it, and the words Free Spins written on top of it.

Gameplay and Features

Collecting three Scatters in the first, third and fifth reel rewards ten free spins, with the possibility to win additional extra turns by collecting additional Scatters on the first reel. If you have two Scatters on the first reel, and one on the third and fifth, you win fifteen free spins, and if you have three Scatters on the first reel and one on the third and fifth, you win twenty free spins instead. Retriggering the feature and adding more free spins is possible, and operates in much the same way as activating them outside of the feature is usually done. The bonus ends when no more free spins remain, or 999 free spins have been played.
