Reel ‘em in! Lobster Potty Slot Machine

As the name implies, Ree ‘em in! Lobster Potty is all about fishing. The graphics are a step above what Barcrest usually puts out. The man floating on his boat on top of the sea is a nice touch, as are the small fishes swimming beneath the waves. The reels have the same background colour as the backdrop image, but they are not transparent, which you can notice when a fish swims by and disappears behind the reels. A thin, silver line separates the reels from the backdrop image itself. On top of the reel, you are shown the three Lobsters which are part of the lobster potty feature.

The symbols themselves are a bit of a let down. Most of them are comprised of generic playing card symbols that you see in a lot of other video slots, such as J, Q, K and A. You also have a yellow fish and an orange fish, as well as the Reel ‘em in slot logo, which is also the highest paying symbol. The Wild is simply a picture of the water with the word Wild written on top of it. There is no dedicated Scatter bonus, but there is a sandy background which indicates an incoming feature.

Gameplay and Features

Activating both special features is entirely random, and is achieved by turning all five reels into sandy reels. This will then award either the Reel ‘em in bonus, or the Lobster Potty feature. Reel ‘em in is rather simple in concept – after an initial cash win, one of the five reels will be highlighted, and only various fish symbols can appear, and when they do, they reward a cash prize. Occasionally, a blank space or a boot may appear. A blank space does nothing, while a boot will stop the feature, and let you collect all the wins you accumulated during the bonus. Lobster Potty will simply choose between the bronze, silver or golden lobster, and will reward you with the appropriate prize.

Playing on Big Bet gives players more Wilds, and with the Big Bite feature, allows a multiplier to be applied to the Wild. It can either be a 2x multiplier for a £30 Big Bet, or one that ranges between 2x to 10x multiplier with the £50 Big Bet.

The largest jackpot you can win is a 500x score from the golden lobster. The game does not have a set variance that we could find. The RTP is 94% for bets below £2, 96% for bets above £2, and 98% for Big Bet spins.
